Who we are

Cords® is a global design company redefining the way we experience power and technology. We believe technology should be calm and function should be honest. Merging Scandinavian minimalism with advanced engineering, we transform overlooked objects into pieces of quiet beauty and precision. We design for the future with more sustainable, longer-lasting products: made with engineering, responsibility, and care.

We design and develop power strips, USB-C chargers, hubs, and charging cables that pair calm minimalism with durable engineering. Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, we work with carefully selected manufacturing partners to bring long-lasting everyday products to customers worldwide.

From sketch to production

Every product begins long before the first prototype.

It starts with a question: how can an everyday object become quieter, more intuitive, more architectural? The answer is worked out in sketches, prototypes and material studies long before anything reaches production. Industrial design and engineering happen in the same room, down to proportions, colors, thermal performance and durability.

Design and engineering

Beautiful on the outside. Thoughtful on the inside.

Inspired by Scandinavian modernism and engineered in Stockholm. High-efficiency power architecture, advanced thermal engineering and precision-crafted materials work together to deliver more watts, greater stability and lasting reliability.

Designing for durability

The most sustainable products are the ones you never need to replace.

Technical

Robust materials and precise construction, for reliable performance over time. Reliability is not a feature, it is a foundation.

Material

Chosen for strength, safety and resilience while reducing environmental impact: renewable polymers, FSC-certified packaging.

Aesthetic

Proportion, balance and a timeless palette rather than trend, so the thing still belongs in the room a decade from now.

Emotional

Honesty, clarity and a calm presence, so a product earns its place instead of being replaced.

Co-founder and designer

Viktor Lundberg co-founded Cords® alongside four partners and leads the design of every product in the range.

Before Cords®, Viktor created Square 1 at Avolt: the product that helped establish the premium designed-power segment. Square 1 received a Red Dot Design Award in 2019 and Svenska Designpriset.

At Cords®, his work continues with Cylindric UX1 and Circular C2, both recognised with an iF Design Award and a Red Dot Design Award in 2026.
