Warranty (Limited Warranty)
Cords Sweden AB (“Cords”) provides this limited warranty (“Warranty”). This Warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory consumer rights.

Coverage

Cords warrants that the product is free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original purchase from the official Cords® web shop, provided the product is used in accordance with:

• the user manual and technical specifications supplied with the product;

• relevant safety and usage guidelines published by Cords; and

• applicable safety standards for plugs and socket-outlets, including IEC 60884-1 and IEC 60884-3-1. For detailed information check the EU Decleration of Confirmity document on each product page. 

Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

• products purchased through channels other than the official Cords® web shop (statutory rights may still apply through the seller);

• issues occurring after the Warranty period;

• cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, changes in surface finish);

• damage caused by accident, misuse, liquid ingress, fire, abnormal heat, or abnormal electromagnetic exposure;

• use outside Cords’ published guidelines, improper voltage supply, overloading, or bypassing protective features;

• attempts to open, modify, or repair the product except as described in official documentation;

• products altered or combined with non-approved components;

• normal wear and tear.

How to make a Warranty claim

To request Warranty service, contact hello@cords.com with:

• your order number or proof of purchase,

• a description of the issue, and

• photos/video where relevant.
  Cords will provide return instructions and confirm next steps.

Remedies (valid claims)
If a defect covered by this Warranty is confirmed, Cords will, at its discretion:

• replace the product with a new or functionally equivalent unit meeting applicable safety requirements; or

• refund the original purchase price upon return of the defective product.

Any returned defective product becomes the property of Cords Sweden AB and will be disposed of or handled in accordance with applicable requirements. Replacement products are covered for the longer of:

• the remainder of the original Warranty period, or

• ninety (90) days from the date of replacement.

Regulatory and safety notice

Cords products are designed to comply with applicable EU requirements (CE marking). Do not open, rewire, or disassemble products except as instructed in official documentation. Use only within rated electrical limits as stated on the product and/or in the user manual.
